CAMPUS VISIT
With advance notice we can arrange for you to:
• Tour the campus
• Visit with an admissions counselor
• Attend a chapel service (M, W, or F, 10:15 a.m.)
• Meet with a faculty member regarding your major
• Talk to a coach, music director, or co-curricular leader
• Enjoy a free t-shirt and a free lunch with a student in the Mensa
Visit awards are $1,000 per year. Only one visit award is allowed per student.

Contact us in advance to arrange your visit. Call (319) 352-8264. We strongly encourage visits Monday-Friday to better ensure a meeting with faculty and coaches. Occasional Saturday visits are offered. If you are planning to visit on a Saturday please call the office to confirm availability. You will receive a confirmation of your scheduled visit via email.
These individual visits are a great way to experience campus for any prospective student at any stage in the college search (transfer, high school senior, junior, or younger). If an individual visit is the experience you are looking for, schedule today!
Regents and Presidential Scholarships
Application Procedure:
- Apply for admission and be accepted.
- Attend a Knights Scholarship Day.
- Typically, students who have a high school minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 and are in the top 25 percent of their high school class will receive a Regents or Presidential Scholarship.

Scholarship Guidelines
In accepting your scholarship, you agree to the following guidelines/stipulations:
- The scholarship will be awarded for no more than four years and is awarded per term.
- Scholarships are applicable to Junior Year Abroad and Cultural Immersion programs.
- All students who participate in the Scholarship programs must file a FAFSA form by March 1, to determine if they qualify for need-based aid from the state and federal government.
- In rare cases, the receipt of need-based aid from the state and/or federal governments, may reduce the amount of the original scholarship offer.
Meistersinger Music Scholarships recognize and encourage talented student musicians who also thrive on Wartburg’s academic challenges. These scholarships are renewable for four years. Awards range up to $5,000 per year and are open to music majors and non-music majors. All-State musicians are guaranteed a $2,500 minimum scholarship. A select few students of exceptional musical ability will be considered for endowed music scholarships up to $10,000 per year, replacing all other music scholarships.
