Monday, Jan. 20, 2025:
Dream Big, Act Boldly

For Wartburg College, Martin Luther King Jr. Day is a day on, not a day off. Students, faculty, and staff spend the holiday focusing on community and how we treat each other through classwork, activities, and service.

Beyond the Spotlight: The Unsung Heroes of the Civil Rights Movement

Look beyond the spotlight to honor unsung heroes of the civil rights movement. Informational displays highlighting these remarkable individuals will be placed throughout campus, each featuring a QR code that invites you to test your knowledge and engage with their stories. Additionally, interactive teach-ins will provide participants with the tools and insights needed to drive meaningful conversations and inspire change.
