RETURNING GRADUATE APPLICANT

  • Apply online through our free graduate application.
  • Submit an undergraduate transcript from a regionally accredited college/university.
  • Submit a curriculum vitae or resume.
  • Submit a personal statement essay.
  • Submit two letters of recommendation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college/university.
  • Minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.00* from degree-granting college/university.
  • Some programs may require course prerequisites dependent on the area of study.

*Students may be admitted on provisional status with a lower GPA.  Students on provisional status must obtain at least a 3.00 GPA after their first term.

Please note: Wartburg College is currently recruiting for online-only programs, which require no U.S. residency, and are not U.S. visa-eligible programs. Therefore, Wartburg College is not permitted to issue I-20 visa application forms for students enrolling in Wartburg College graduate programs. The following will be required of international graduate student applicants:

  • To demonstrate proficiency in English, students must provide a minimum TOEFL iBT score of 80, DuoLingo score of 110 or IELTS English-proficiency score of 6.0; OR have completed an undergraduate or graduate degree taught in English.
  • Prior to admission, students will need to complete the International Student Application for Financial Aid form (ISAFA) 
  • Prior to admission, students submitting transcripts from colleges or universities not in the United States will need to submit to World Education Services for a course-by-course credit evaluation.
  • Prior to final program admission decision, an interview with program representatives is required.
